In order to align the Board of Trustees election period with the PCHS Charter, elections for PCHS Board of Trustees seats will take place each spring.

The Nomination Period is now open for the seats on the PCHS Board of Trustees.

The seats that are open are:

*The qualifications and procedures for the parent seat are:

1.     You will be a parent of a current PCHS student for the entire term (You have a 9,10,or 11th grade PCHS student) 

2.     The traveling parent seat requires the parent to reside outside the traditional catchment area. Therefore, PCHS will require candidates to give us an address for qualification. 

3.     The parent ballot will designate parents who qualify for the traveling seat. 

4.     You are not a PCHS Interested Party (meaning you have not been compensated by the school in any way in the last 12 months whether as an employee or independent contractor, or any relative of anyone compensated within 12 months). Pursuant to Charter and Corporations Code Section 5227.

**The qualifications for community seat are

1.     You will not become a PCHS parent for the entire term of the seat.

2.     You live in the communities served by PCHS. Therefore, PCHS will require candidates to give us an address for qualification.

3.     You are not a PCHS Interested Party (meaning you have not been compensated by the school in any way in the last 12 months whether as an employee or independent contractor, or any relative of anyone compensated within 12 months). Pursuant Charter and Corporations Code Section 5227.

4.     PCHS prefers that community candidates have educational experience, legal experience/financial experience/fundraising experience/ PCHS experience

Late Start –Bell Schedule

On selective Tuesdays during the spring semester, Pali students will be on a “Late Start Schedule”.  Classes will begin at 9:00 am.  There will be no 0 and no 7^th period classes on a Late Start Day.  Transportation schedules will be adjusted accordingly so that students will arrive in time for the 9:00 am start time.
