Facilities-Use Rules/Policies

 

All Facilities:

  • No PCHS facilities may be used by Non-PCHS groups, classes, teams, individuals, etc. without written permission from PCHS
  • In PCHS’s sole discretion, PCHS's use of any or all facilities for any school event or activity may take priority over any permitted/licensed use
  • No Use of PCHS Equipment without prior authorization in writing from PCHS
  • All facilities to be used in compliance with PCHS's Facilities-Use Policy (see link above), and any policies for each specific facility as listed here
  • No animals allowed! However, Trained Service Dogs with their owner/user that has a disability in need of the specific Service Dog using the Service Dog in compliance with ADA Rules/Regulations are permitted/welcome. Emotional support animals are not Service Dogs and are not permitted to be on PCHS grounds.
  • No doors anywhere to be propped/left open that enables others without proper authorization to gain access to the facility and/or during unapproved times
  • No Climbing over or under fences or cutting/damaging/relocating fences or gates of any kind
  • No Climbing Up-To or Down-From the Roof or 2nd Story of any Buildings other than via using authorized stairs or elevator
  • No Fires Started – No open flames of any kind
  • No Smoking or Vaping of any substances permitted
  • No Possession or Consumption of Alcohol or Illegal Substances permitted
  • No Urination/Defecation outside of design locations for such in Restrooms or Port-o-Potty’s
  • No Air-Horns, Cowbells, Vuvuzelas or other similar/artificial noise makers
  • No Amplified noise unless approved prior in writing by PCHS
  • No Hanging, Taping, and/or Nailing Items onto/into walls without prior approval by PCHS

 

Gym Complex:

  • No Use of PCHS equipment (VB poles/nets, Basketball backboard/hoop/nets, etc.) without prior PCHS authorization
  • Use of indoor tennis, basketball or equivalent shoes only
  • No climbing on bleachers when they’re stacked/closed
  • No kicking of basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, etc.

 

Stadium Track and/or Field:

  • No Vehicles or Heavy Objects moved onto or across the Track or Field at any time
  • No Food of any kind permitted on the Track or Field
  • No Seeds or Gum, or anything similar, permitted on the Track or Field
  • No Liquids other than water permitted on the Track or Field
  • No Markers, Paint, or anything that could stain permitted on the Track or Field
  • No Cleats/Spikes on Track (unless they are UST&F approved running/racing spikes)
  • No use of field equipment (goals, hurdles, etc.) w/o prior PCHS authorization
  • No use or movement of field equipment
  • No Access or Occupation on top of any structures, including but not limited to the Press Box, Ticket Booth, Restroom Buildings, Trailers, Containers, Garage, Batting Cage, etc.
  • The Stadium Track and Field are not available for Student, Faculty/Staff or Public use on any day, other than for these exceptions:
    • Official PCHS Classes/Sports/Activities or other official school hours events (Pep Rally’s, Community Days, Evacuations, etc.)
    • Students walking to/from Pali Academy on school days during school hours (+/- an hour at the start and end of a school day)
    • Permit use as seen on the online “Facilities Usage” Calendar we all follow that Permits keeps up-to-date re PCHS Competition Teams, PCHS Events, Filming, Community Events, etc.
    • Operations as needed – Security, Janitorial, Facilities, IT, etc. as related to their general duties
    • The track may be used by Students, Faculty/Staff & The Public between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on School Days as long as:
      • The Official After-School Activities using that facility have completed
      •    The evening Field permits are still active
      •    This use does not in any way infringe upon or interfere with the permit group’s use of the permitted space
      •  All PCHS Facilities-Use rules as listed on PCHS’s website are followed
 

Maggie Gilbert Aquatic Center:

 

Baseball Field:

  • No use of the Infield Dirt or Infield Grass areas unless specifically permitted
  • No Heavy Objects to be moved onto/across the field unless pre-approved by PCHS
  • No use of field equipment (goals, bases, dugouts, batting cages, etc.) w/o prior PCHS authorization

 

Mercer Hall & Gilbert Hall:

  • No rearranging tables/desk/chairs desk or furniture w/o prior PCHS authorization
  • Do not go through drawers, cabinets, or take/borrow anything from the room
  • Do not remove anything from the room walls without prior PCHS authorization
  • No use of tech/audio and/or lighting equipment without prior PCHS authorization

 

Quad, Outdoor Stage & Covered Cafeteria Areas:

  • No Rearranging of picnic tables or other furniture without prior PCHS authorization
  • Nothing but typical liquids (water, Gatorade, etc.) to be emptied in water fountains
  • No use of garden hoses without prior authorization in writing from PCHS

 

Classrooms:

  • No Rearranging of desks/tables/chairs/furniture w/o prior PCHS authorization
  • Do not go through drawers or cabinets, or take/borrow anything from the classroom
  • Do not remove anything from classroom walls without prior PCHS authorization
  • No use of tech/audio and/or lighting equipment without prior PCHS authorization
